On April 29, 2010, when international AIDS fundraising event Dining Out For Life comes to Boston for the first time, you can do just that. On that night select Boston area restaurants will donate 25% of their evening’s sales to support local HIV/AIDS services and prevention. The local beneficiary is Cambridge Cares About AIDS, delivering HIV/AIDS services and prevention programming to people from 90 zip codes in Greater Boston. read more »

MIT Nonprofit Case Competition

* Having a groups of 4 people work with a nonprofit. Each company would present a problem they have had within their firm and the students would have the opportunity to ask them questions and then ultimately prepare a presentation for a final symposium.

VITA stands for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and each year the partnership helps low-income residents e-file their federal and state tax returns for free. While most returns are prepared at the Cyber Cafe @ Malden Square, this year we will be able to go to other locations if there are a significant number of people who cannot get to our site. read more »
